Honest answers to what people usually ask us before applying.

Do I need a degree to work at DivyCHI?
No. We don't have a degree requirement for any role. We care about what you can do and how you think — demonstrated by projects, work, research, or other output. Many of our best team members are self-taught or have unconventional paths. If you're exceptional, the credential question becomes irrelevant.
Are all roles fully remote?
Most roles at DivyCHI are remote-first and open globally. We have physical offices in Bangalore. Some research and engineering roles may involve periodic on-site collaboration — typically quarterly. We always specify work mode clearly in role descriptions, and when in doubt, just ask.
How long does your hiring process take?
From application to offer, our typical process runs 3–4 weeks. We move deliberately — we want to understand you well — but we respect your time and don't drag things out unnecessarily. At every stage we'll tell you where we are and what comes next. We aim to deliver offers within 48 hours of a decision.
There are no open roles. Should I still apply?
Yes — absolutely. We maintain an active talent pool and refer to it constantly. When a role opens (which can happen quickly at our stage), we look to our pool first before posting publicly. Some of our best hires came from general applications submitted months before we had a formal opening. The form below goes directly to our talent team.
Do you offer internships or entry-level roles?
We run an internship programme seasonally (typically aligned with academic calendars) and occasionally hire for junior roles. If you're a student or early-career candidate, mark this clearly in your application and describe what you're excited to learn. We take early-career talent seriously and invest meaningfully in mentorship.
Can I apply for multiple areas?
You can, but we'd encourage you to focus your application on the area where you're strongest. A clear signal of depth in one domain is more compelling than breadth across many. That said, if you genuinely sit across multiple disciplines (e.g. research engineering, or design-technical), describe the intersection honestly — that's often extremely valuable to us.
What does compensation look like?
We benchmark compensation to the top 10% in your role and geography. All full-time employees receive a base salary, meaningful equity (not token grants), and a comprehensive benefits package. We're transparent about bands at the offer stage and review compensation bi-annually. We don't make people negotiate against themselves.
Do you consider applicants outside India?
Yes. We hire globally for most roles. We currently have team members across 12+ countries. For fully remote positions, location is rarely a barrier. Contractor arrangements are available for geographies where we don't yet have a legal entity, with a clear path to full employment as we expand.
